I'm about fifty pages from finishing (the book is 700+ pages), but I thought that I'd recommend it anyway.

Patrick Rothfuss has some very good things going for him. The plot and storyline have a lot of cliche fantasy elements, but it's also very well written with exceptional world-building and exposition, realism, a believable magic system, and something of a fire-starter protagonist.

I was so caught up by this book that I brought it with me to grocery shore, and endangered my fellow customers by reading all through the shelves, out into the parking lot, and only stopped to drive. It's definitely worth checking out.

Sounds interesting. (Endangering fellow customers = awesome) I'll definitely take a look at it.

I agree, this is a very good piece of classic fantasy.

I finished reading this and forgot that this was here.

A very excellent read. I can't wait for the next.
