Has anyone tried to write one of these dang things?

I mean, it's hard enough to condense a 700 page novel down to 7, but it's another thing for it to showcase your ability as a writer. On top of that, it has to be in present-friggin-tense!

Gotta hit all the major plot points and make it read wonderfully too? My God!!!

I'll have mine done within 2 days... but dang, this is like torture.

there are about 45 agents on my list that will open up to me once I get it done. So, like it or not, it's a must.

You know what's funny?

You guys ragging on me for often writing in present-tense. Guess who's gonna be laughing? Razz

Are you going to share your synopsis with us?

Probably... I guess... it's gonna suck anyway. But only to a select few. because it will give away the ending, I can't post it publicly or to too many people.

On a positive note: My sample chapters can get the job done. I'm sure of it.

Yea, I tried to write a summary for a story I wrote in class once. I think writing the summary was harder than writing the story! I was overthinking it way to much. Thankfully though the story wasn't that long.

I wish you luck with the summary!
