Today, after 19 years married to yours truly, my wife became a United States citizen.

It doesn't mean that she feels any less about her home country of South Korea... but that she along thousands of others still believe in American being a Beacon of Freedom.

Bash America all you want... I know not all of you are Americans and I know that not all of you have a favorable opinion of America...

But Today, I'm very proud to be one. The ceremony was awesome!! :

I love Americans. Really. There's a spirit of America and a sense of can-do optimism that I love. And Americans are friendly.

But American politics are screwed up beyond belief. Not a word about that though Wink

Congratulations Smile

AMERICA, F--- YEAH!!!

There are lots of things about America that arent perfect, but it sure beats the hell out of living in (insert country here)!!!

In all serious, there are way more worse places than America than there are better places. I like my odds.

I've lived in 14 countries.

They are *mostly* all wonderful places with wonderful people... but yes, nothing quite compares to what we have right here at home.

Congratulations, Fifth. Sorry for being late on the congrats. I had to seriously consider my own standpoint on the whole "proud to be American"-thingie before I posted. Laughing

And my viewpoint? I love America, and I love her values, history of freedom and democracy, and her people who, to me, seems an honest, good, and open people.

(But I God-To-Honest HATE the corrupt politicians/Neocons/globalists who are trying to ruin your beautiful country (and the rest of our world.), and are doing a pretty damn good job so far. Ok, I'm done now.) Sorry for that one. Razz Bah. Going to bed now. Need beauty-sleep, or conspiracy rant will ensue. ZZzzzzznoooorrr.... Arrow

Fair enough.

And thanx everyone. It was a big day for her!

Now, however, I'm married to an American.... yuck... I liked it better when she was a foreigner. Razz

Sorry Fiffy, no more exotic wife for you. Wink

Haha, really though, congrats.

And yes, it is a pretty good country minus the politicians...

Which reminds me, all of you should vote for me for president when I'm old enough. I show them damn bastards!
