Spellcheck Muse

An enduring source of amusement for me has been the frequent arguments over spelling with Microsoft spellcheck. It just does not agree with my spelling. It basically just annoyed me for a while. Then, probably some night after a really long nightshift and crazy day, I noticed how cool this was. After all, I would never have thought the correct spelling for the Sun God Astonar to be "Stoned Rakes"!!

So, I was thinking this could be a really fun idea for a completely silly RP. Type a name into your program of choice, and then ask for spelling suggestions. Choose the best one, and build your character around the name. I've done these pointless RP's before, actually am GM for one on another forum, and they are always lots of fun. With the crowd here, it should be great. The storyline would be whatever we threw at it.

Woohoo! I'll start the thread tomorrow, unless you beat me to it. I'm going to play Sinking, Lord of the Stoned Rakes. I'll also post a character bio tomorrow.

Name: Sir Shinier

Occupation: Knight

Weapon: Shiney bald head, shiney armor, and large, shiney sword.

Special powers: The ability the blind an opponent with the reflection off his various shiney things (most often his head.)

Weaknesses: Darkness. Unless it's a full moon he totally looses his advantage.

Extras: Sir Shinier is the strange creation from Sehnyer. Which is especially odd because Sehnyer's a girl...

Name: Snacking, Lord of the Stoned Rakes

Appearance: Golden hair in long dredlocks, orange eyes, skinny and short

Equipment: Anything that can be smoked from, liberal supplies of drugs, and a REALLY snazzy golden fork, usually plenty of food stashed in various satchels, bags and boxes

Strengths: The very act of being near Snacking makes anyone high and happy, and he often buys goodwill by offering someone a snack

Weaknesses: Always munching on stuff, so is very noisy and can be heard from a mile away

Extras: Snacking is the Alternative Universe Alter-Ego of Astonar Sunking, Lord of the Aezriy
